End of Year Fun
Spring into summer activities at Pioneer were many! Our third grade students embarked upon a field trip to the Wind Farm. With the wind blowing, students learned of wind energy. First grade classes visited Cave B where they planted carrots, learned a bit of geography and enjoyed a sack lunch under the arbor. In the last weeks of school, kindergarten classes took a walk to the city library. Here they heard about the summer reading program and the procedures of the library. Finally, in May the Seattle Opera entertained the entire school with a performance of Spanish Cinderella. These activities as well as many others enhance the Pioneer experience for our Pioneer Panthers! Our thanks to the Parent Volunteer Committee and the Quincy community for their support.
