Governor Jay Inslee spent time with kindergarten students at Pioneer Elementary on Thursday, May 25th. He was instructed in chemical engineering techniques required to produce high quality “play dough”. “We were talking about the enrichment program that goes on here, and it’s very encouraging,” Inslee said before the kids arrived. “Most kids aren’t living in million dollar homes … and they need enrichment more than anybody. I’m really glad this is going on here.”
School district administration, school board members, Quincy mayor and others spoke with the Governor on various education topics.
