The following pages contain information on scholarships that are available to graduates of the Quincy School District.

Each scholarship is described in detail. The sponsoring group may change the award at any time. Each sponsoring group establishes their own ground rules for the selection of award winners.

Read over all scholarship descriptions, you might find yourself eligible for scholarships that you did not know about.

BIG BEND COMMUNITY COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP Student Mails - Due February 17, 2017

Complete one application to apply for numerous scholarships (athletic, education, agriculture, learning disabilities, math, science, minority, automotive, welding, aviation, computer science, medical assistance, nursing & many generic scholarships offered). Find application at www.bigbend.edu click on Admissions/Financial Aid/Scholarships.

COLUMBIA COLSTOR SCHOLARSHIP Student Mails - Due February 28, 2017

Scholarship to a graduating Quincy School District senior or alumni who is a dependent of a Columbia Colstor employee. 2.5 minimum GPA required. Find at www.columbiabasinfoundation.org listed under Regional. The CBF office must receive the application by 5:00pm on February 28th, not postmarked on that date.

GRANT COUNTY FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP ( document Word (36 KB) , pdf PDF (104 KB) Student Mails - Due July 1, 2017

One $500 scholarship to a college level student going into an agricultural or related field. 2.0 minimum GPA required. Parent must be a current member of the Farm Bureau.

JOE BULLERI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP Student Mails - Due March 1, 2017

$2,000 scholarships open to Quincy High School graduating seniors and alumni pursuing a degree compatible with service to the tree fruit industry at an accredited two or four-year college or university. Find at www.waef.org/scholarships.

KEN ARDELL SCHOLARSHIP Student Mails - Due April 1, 2017

Two $1,500 scholarships awarded to alumni of Grant & Adams County School Districts. Student must have been in 4H or FFA for at least two years. Find at extension.wsu.edu/grant-adams click on 4-H, Youth & Families/4-H Youth Development/Scholarship Information/Ken Ardell Scholarship.

NORM AND KATHY WHITE SCHOLARSHIP Student Mails - Due February 28, 2017

Two scholarships in the amount of $1,000 available to Qunicy School District graduating seniors or alumni attending a two year, four year or vocational college, university within the state of Washington. 2.5 minimum GPA required. Find at www.columbiabasinfoundation.org listed under Quincy High School. The CBF office must receive the application by 5:00pm on February 28th, not postmarked on that date.

PAUL LAUZIER FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP Student Mails - Due February 24, 2017

A continuing scholarship to a college student attending a two year, four year or vocational school in the State of Washington. Find at www.lauzier.org click on College Student App.

REC SILICON SCHOLARSHIP Student Mails - Due February 28, 2017

Scholarship to Grant County graduating seniors or alumni who are in the process of completing their two year general university requirements prior to entering their major field of study. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering major will be considered first, Business Administration or Finance/Accounting second. Must be attending a four year university. 3.30 minimum GPA required. VERA CLAUSSEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP Student Mails - Due February 28, 2017

Scholarship to an applicant who is a Wanapum Indian, as recognized by the Wanapum Tribal Council, or a descendant of a Wanapum Indian. Applicant must have graduated or received a GED certificate. 2.0 minimum GPA from graduating high school or last college attended. Applicant must enroll fulltime in an accredited technical school, college or university. Find at www.columbiabasinfoundation.org listed under Regional. Five – Seven $1,000 scholarships for Washington State graduating seniors and alumni with interests in the cattle feeding industry or beef related studies.
